Paddle through water channels surrounded by lily flowers and lush green vegetation, which reminds you of the Amazon. Take a refreshing swim and enjoy a picnic with refreshing drinks on the boat.

Initinary

The boat will wait for you in the village of Virpazar in the early morning. We take a scenic boat tour to the starting point of a SUP tour – a remote and quiet part of the lake. We pass this amazing landscape of Lake Skadar, scattered islands and lily fields before we anchor the boat. We see many birds on our way – the early morning is the best for birdwatching.

After anchoring, we take time for a safety debrief and practise basic paddle strokes on the boat. Once we are all ready, we go one by one on the water. Soon we take off towards part of the lake, which will remind you of the Amazon Forest. The locals even called it the Amazon of Lake Skadar. The channels are surrounded by lush forest, birds, dragonflies, reeds, and lily flowers. We paddle through three channels and do a full loop back to the starting point. The whole loop is about 4 km. There is a break to enjoy the water lilies; we take a breath and dive into vibrant surroundings, take a swim and float on boards.

On the boat ride back to Virpazar we prepare a picnic and serve refreshing drinks.

We prepare a picnic for you. A colourful snack platter – served on the way back in the boat. Local homemade pomegranate and mint juice are served on the boat.
